“Monitoring the safety of food for our displaced people is more important than merely providing meals periodically. The quality of ingredients, quantities, nutritional value appropriate to the meal’s price, preparation, kitchens, refrigeration, transport, and speed of serving all matter. I hope that the World Food Program, which generously funds these meals, applies pressure to ensure proper implementation. We, for our part, will monitor closely.”
