Israeli army: "We found dozens of weapons in Majdal Zoun inside civilian infrastructure"

Israeli army spokesperson Ella Wawiya wrote in Arabic via her account on the X platform:

"At the heart of civilian infrastructure in the town of Majdal Zoun: troops from the 55th Brigade Combat Team found dozens of weapons in the security zone.

Reserve forces from the 55th Brigade Combat Team, under the command of the 91st Division, continue to operate in the town of Majdal Zoun within the security zone to eliminate threats targeting the State of Israel.

During their activity, the forces found dozens of weapons inside civilian infrastructure, including Kalashnikov rifles, ammunition magazines, rounds, hand grenades, explosive materials, improvised explosive devices, anti-tank missiles, and mortar shells.

In addition, the forces destroyed buildings that had been used by the Hezbollah terrorist organization.

The IDF will continue to act to remove any threat targeting its forces and will not allow the Hezbollah terrorist organization to harm the citizens of the State of Israel."
