"Amal Khalil died because she was conveying the truth. The word and the image were her only weapons in the face of hostile drones. The martyr Amal Khalil was not merely a field journalist; she was an eye that saw what Israel fears, and she paid with her life for her courage.
Her assassination will not conceal the systematic and documented crimes in the south, nor will it erase the truth.
Mercy to her soul, and justice for her is a duty and a right that does not lapse."
