The Lebanese Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
“Following the previous statement regarding a hostile Israeli strike targeting an apartment in the Ain Saadeh area – Metn, and as a result of ongoing investigations and security monitoring, it has been determined that the individual who left the building on a motorcycle at the time of the attack and subsequently disappeared is a delivery worker. Over the past months, he had been delivering medication to residents of one of the apartments in the building.
In this context, the Army Command confirms that investigations are ongoing to uncover the circumstances of the Israeli attack. It also calls for refraining from speculation on sensitive security matters, as such actions could lead to internal tension.”
