
Pakistani Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar stressed, during a phone call he held today, Sunday, with his Iranian counterpart Abbas Araghchi, the importance of continuing dialogue and communication to address outstanding issues as soon as possible.
In a statement, Pakistan's Foreign Ministry said Dar affirmed that continued dialogue would help strengthen peace and stability at both the regional and international levels.
The statement added that the two sides agreed to remain in close contact, in addition to arranging a phone call later today between Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian and Pakistani Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif.
