High-level Lebanese presence at the farewell for the Qatari Emir’s father … Nawaf Salam heads an official delegation in Doha

Prime Minister Dr. Nawaf Salam arrived in the Qatari capital, Doha, at the head of a high-level ministerial delegation to offer condolences on the death of His Highness the Father Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.

The Lebanese delegation included Deputy Prime Minister Dr. Tarek Mitri, Finance Minister Yassine Jaber, and Justice Minister Adel Nassar. They were received upon their arrival at Doha airport by Qatar’s Minister of Transport, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Thani.

The visit comes as part of Lebanon’s expression of solidarity with the State of Qatar in this loss, and as a reaffirmation of the deep fraternal ties binding the two countries and peoples.
