Teachers' Syndicate head Nehme Mahfoud confirmed that "if the situation calms down a little, we are moving toward holding official examinations," announcing that "an agreement was reached with the Minister of Education to extend the school year by two or three weeks so that students who studied remotely can continue their education in person, ensuring equality among all students."
Mahfoud noted in an interview with LBCI that "the learning loss since 2019 has been very significant, and we are trying to preserve what remains of this sector."
