Rifi: I call on the state to expel the Iranian ambassador

MP and former Major General Ashraf Rifi wrote on his account on the platform “X”:

“All respect and solidarity with the Arab Gulf states in confronting the repeated Iranian attacks.

I believe that the decision taken by Saudi Arabia and Qatar to expel Iranian diplomats is the minimum required, and indeed a necessary step to protect sovereignty and stability.

I call on the Lebanese state to take a similar decision by expelling the Iranian ambassador, to make it clear to the Iranian regime that its destabilizing role is rejected and will no longer be accepted.”
