Baghdad warns: No cover for any party tampering with Saudi security or exploiting Iraqi territory

The Iraqi government affirmed its categorical rejection of the use of Iraqi land, airspace, or territorial waters to carry out any attack targeting neighboring countries, stressing its commitment to state sovereignty and its refusal of any attempts to drag Iraq into regional tensions.

The government explained that it will not tolerate any party seeking to undermine the country’s sovereignty or harm Iraq’s relations with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and neighboring states, underscoring Baghdad’s keenness to تعزيز regional stability and preserve its Arab ties.

It also announced its readiness to cooperate and contribute to verifying the circumstances of the attack that targeted Saudi Arabia, within the framework of coordination and shared responsibility among states.
