Saudi Arabia warns: Iranian behavior destabilizes regional security and threatens freedom of navigation

Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Ministry expressed its strong condemnation of the attacks it accused Iran of carrying out against a number of countries in the region, affirming its rejection of what it described as assaults targeting the security and stability of states.

The Saudi Foreign Ministry said the continuation of these attacks constitutes a violation of the principles of international law and the rules of good neighborliness, stressing that Iranian behavior poses a threat to regional security.

Riyadh also condemned the repeated attacks on commercial vessels, considering these acts a threat to freedom of navigation and the safety of international trade, and called for an end to the escalation and the preservation of the region’s security.
