A statement was issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants, which read:
“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants expresses its condemnation of the terrorist plot announced by the Kingdom of Bahrain, concerning the arrest of three individuals who formed a cell aiming to undermine Bahrain’s sovereignty and security and to spread fear and panic among its citizens and residents.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants, while reaffirming its full commitment to the security and stability of the Kingdom of Bahrain, stresses its absolute rejection of the use of Lebanese territory to undermine Bahrain’s security or interfere in its internal affairs. It also confirms the readiness of the Lebanese authorities to cooperate in the investigations in order to bring the perpetrators to justice.”
