Hezbollah responds with ambushes in the south... Where is the confrontation heading?... This is what it announced?

Hezbollah’s Operations Room issued the following statement regarding the confrontation in the town of Haddatha:

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

"Permission [to fight] has been given to those who are being fought because they were wronged. And indeed, Allah is competent to grant them victory."

God Almighty has spoken the truth.

For several days, the Israeli enemy army has been attempting to destroy the resistance’s defenses in the town of Haddatha through intensive airstrikes by warplanes, concentrated artillery shelling, the deployment of explosive-laden vehicles, and the bringing in of bulldozers and engineering machinery, as part of attempts to advance and occupy the town. But the resistance was lying in wait for it.

Yesterday, on 19-5-2026 at 20:10, a composite force from the Israeli enemy army attempted, for the third time in a week, to advance from the town of Rshaf toward the town of Haddatha. After the fighters monitored the force, they ambushed it at the southern entrance to Haddatha, in the stadium area, and engaged it with medium weapons and rockets, inflicting confirmed casualties among its members.

At 20:50, a Merkava tank attempted to advance toward the Haddatha pond. The fighters targeted it with appropriate weapons and destroyed it, then engaged its escort force. In response, enemy warplanes and artillery intervened to support the force and provide cover for the withdrawal of the targeted tank.

At 21:05, the resistance’s artillery targeted with mortar shells the reinforcement forces brought by the enemy army to the southern entrance of the town.

At 22:15, another force attempted to advance to the road junction leading to the town of Aita al-Jabal. The fighters targeted it with direct fire and destroyed a second Merkava tank.

At 00:10, the fighters targeted a third tank with a guided missile at the southern entrance to the town of Haddatha near the stadium, leading to its destruction and the complete withdrawal of the force to Khallat al-Daraj in the al-Hamma area under heavy smoke cover.

At 03:15, another force from the Israeli enemy army attempted to advance toward the al-Baydar area from the same road it had taken in two previous attempts over the past days. The fighters were lying in wait for it, engaged it, and destroyed a fourth tank.

In the face of this heroic resistance and the scale of its losses, the enemy army was forced to retreat at dawn toward the town of Rshaf.
