Abu al-Hassan: “Al-Sharaa assured Jumblatt that Syria has no intention of intervening militarily or security-wise in Lebanon, and he wants to open a new page between the two countries.”

MP Hadi Abu al-Hassan said in an interview with Al-Jadeed: “What the President of the Republic has done by launching the negotiating process enjoys the support of the majority of اللبنانيين, and we support direct negotiations, while the language of treason is unacceptable.”

He added: “Al-Sharaa assured Jumblatt that Syria has no intention of intervening militarily or security-wise in Lebanon, and he wants to open a new page between the two countries.”

He continued: “I say to the people of Jabal al-Arab that the project of separation will not succeed, and the project of dividing Syria has not succeeded.”
