Ahead of the Abu Dhabi conference... Al-Sadi and the UAE ambassador launch a joint move to strengthen cooperation

Minister of Energy and Water Joe Saddi discussed with the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Lebanon, Fahad Al Kaabi, ways to strengthen bilateral relations, with a focus on cooperation in the water sector and preparations for Lebanon’s participation in the United Nations Water Conference.

The meeting also addressed preparations for the conference scheduled to be held in Abu Dhabi from December 8 to 10, 2026, with both sides stressing the importance of coordinating efforts to ensure effective Lebanese participation that contributes to achieving the conference’s goals and enhancing cooperation on issues related to water resources management.
