
Lebanese Forces Party leader Samir Geagea received at Maarab the new Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to the Lebanese Republic, Mohammad Sultan Al-Sharji, on his first visit since assuming his diplomatic duties. He was accompanied by Counselor Abdulaziz Humaidan Al-Dalh and First Secretary Abdullah Khaled Al-Deyeen, in the presence of party Executive Committee member and former MP Eddy Abi Lamaa, head of the Foreign Relations Department and former minister Richard Kouyoumjian, and Roger Rajeh from the department.
During the meeting, the participants reviewed the general situation in Lebanon and the current regional developments, and stressed the depth of the fraternal and historic ties between the State of Kuwait and the Lebanese Republic, as well as the importance of continuing coordination and consultation on issues of common interest.
The attendees also underscored the need to strengthen and develop bilateral relations between the two countries across various fields, particularly at the political, economic, and developmental levels, in a way that helps consolidate stability and support the path of joint cooperation between the two brotherly peoples.
