Ghobash in Baabda carrying the greetings of Mohammed bin Zayed... Aoun praises the return of Emiratis to Lebanon

President of the Republic Joseph Aoun received Saqr Ghobash, Speaker of the Federal National Council of the United Arab Emirates, on the occasion of his visit to Lebanon. Ghobash conveyed the greetings of the UAE President, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and his wishes for Lebanon’s continued stability and security. He then reviewed with him the general situation in Lebanon and the region in light of current developments.

The President welcomed Ghobash and asked him to convey his greetings to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. He thanked him for the support the UAE provides to Lebanon in all fields, reiterating his condemnation of the attacks it has been subjected to, the continuation of which threatens security and stability in the Gulf states and the region as a whole.

President Aoun also praised the decision issued by the UAE allowing its citizens to travel to Lebanon, considering that this decision reflects the depth of the fraternal relations binding the two countries and their brotherly peoples.
