The Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued the following statement:
“Foreign Minister and Expatriates Affairs Yusuf Raji participated via videoconference in the 165th session of the Arab League Council at the ministerial level, dedicated to addressing Iranian violations against the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Arab states.
In his intervention, Minister Raji renewed Lebanon’s strong condemnation of the Iranian violations affecting the security and sovereignty of the sister Arab countries, emphasizing that these actions exceed all acceptable limits and require unequivocal condemnation according to all international standards and norms.
He reaffirmed Lebanon’s steadfast support for these countries and their peoples in confronting such blatant violations. The minister also expressed his gratitude for the Arab positions supporting Lebanon in the face of Israeli attacks, as well as the continuous efforts by Arab states to halt escalation and promote stability.
He concluded his speech by expressing appreciation for the solid Arab support for the Lebanese government’s decisions to confine arms exclusively to the state, extend its effective sovereignty over its entire territory, and put an end to all unlawful military actions.”
