Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baghaei stated that negotiations cannot be reconciled with a final ultimatum or the threat of committing a war crime, emphasizing his country’s rejection of any actions that threaten its sovereignty.
Baghaei also pointed to the possibility that the US operation south of Isfahan was planned to steal Iran’s enriched uranium, noting that the location where US aircraft landed was far from the point they claimed the pilot was hiding.
He highlighted that the US operation was a total failure, asserting that Iranian forces repeated the historic Tabas incident in responding to foreign threats.
