
Minister of Interior and Municipalities Ahmad Al-Hajjar received in his office the families of the martyrs of the General Directorate of Civil Defense who were killed as a result of the Israeli attacks, in the presence of Civil Defense Director General Brigadier General Imad Khreiss and a delegation from the directorate.
During the meeting, Al-Hajjar stressed that “the sacrifices of the Civil Defense martyrs embody the highest meanings of selflessness and giving,” emphasizing that they “gave the most precious thing they had for the sake of their homeland and to save lives,” noting that “these sacrifices are a source of appreciation and pride for the state and the Lebanese people.”
He pointed out that “Lebanon will remain united through its people, and there is no choice but to live together,” considering that the state “has been and will remain the protector of all its citizens without exception.”
He concluded by saying: “Every drop of blood shed is a testament in the name of all Lebanon, and an affirmation of the values of sacrifice and loyalty carried by the sons of this الوطن.”
