Following his meeting with President Michel Aoun, Minister of Administrative Development Fadi Maki stated:
“We reviewed the latest developments in light of my participation in the Cabinet session, which was an opportunity to emphasize that the current phase requires internal solidarity, strengthening the presence of the state, and prioritizing national responsibility.”
“Today’s priority is confronting the ongoing Israeli aggression, supporting displaced persons, and intensifying all efforts to end the war, while emphasizing civil peace and internal dialogue.”
“We have no option but the state and its legitimate institutions, and Lebanon today is in urgent need of decisions that unify rather than divide. I express my full confidence in the actions of His Excellency the President, in coordination with the Speaker of Parliament and the Prime Minister.”
