The Prime Minister received a delegation from the Democratic Gathering headed by MP Taymour Joumblatt, which included MPs Marwan Hamadeh, Akram Chehayeb, Wael Abou Faour, Hadi Aboul Hosn, Bilal Abdallah, Faisal Al Sayegh, and Raji Al Saad, as well as the Secretary-General of the Progressive Socialist Party, Zafar Nasser, and MP Joumblatt’s adviser, attorney Hossam Harb. The meeting addressed the latest developments in Lebanon, the need to steer clear of the language of incitement and hatred, and the ongoing international efforts to stop the war, including the Washington meeting.
