Internal Security Forces arrest two Syrians in Mount Lebanon for drugging and assaulting a minor

The General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division issued the following statement:

"As part of the ongoing efforts by Internal Security Forces units to combat crime and arrest perpetrators, and based on information obtained by the Mount Lebanon Investigation Unit of the Regional Gendarmerie regarding a minor (born in 2014, Syrian) who had been drugged and raped and was transferred to a hospital.

In response, the unit intensified its inquiries and investigations, which revealed the involvement of:

- I.J. (born in 2000, Syrian)

- A.A. (born in 2009, Syrian)

Following careful surveillance and tracking, a patrol from the unit arrested them on 29-04-2026 in the Kahalouniyeh area while they were riding two motorcycles without license plates and without identification papers.

The detainees, along with the two motorcycles, were handed over to the relevant station for the necessary legal measures to be taken against them, based on the instructions of the competent judiciary."
