Prime Minister Nawaf Salam spoke by phone with Jordanian Prime Minister Jaafar Hassan and thanked him for coordinating the international relief campaign and organizing a land bridge to deliver it to Lebanon, in line with the directives of His Majesty King Abdullah II. The first shipment arrived yesterday, preceded by two convoys of Jordanian aid that were transported and escorted by the Jordanian Armed Forces.
