A U.S. Green Light for Israel in Lebanon!

Western sources told Nidaa Al-Watan that the United States has given Israel a green light to continue its operations during the lull in U.S.-Iranian negotiations, so that Tel Aviv can build up a significant tally in its target bank should any agreement between Washington and Tehran encompass the Lebanese arena.

According to these sources, the attainment of a truce does not necessarily mean obliging Israel to withdraw from southern Lebanon, as long as Hezbollah has not surrendered its weapons and clear security and political arrangements have not taken shape to ensure that its military structure is not rebuilt.
