During a national meeting in Maarab titled “To Save Lebanon,” Samir Geagea, head of the Lebanese Forces, said that his conscience is clear regarding the party’s actions over the past two decades to prevent the current crisis.
Geagea stated: “I hope Hezbollah has learned the lessons from what happened over the past two years to avoid the worst.”
He added: “The Minister of Foreign Affairs, in coordination with the President of the Republic and the Prime Minister, made the decision to expel the Iranian ambassador, and the security agencies must implement the decision; otherwise, we will be facing manipulation of Lebanon’s fate.”
He emphasized: “The government has made very bold decisions, and therefore the various Lebanese administrations are responsible for implementing government decisions, but the government is not executing the decisions on the ground.”
