Sharjah Summons Publishing Giants... Global Conference Opens the Battle Over Copyright and the Future of Knowledge

The Sharjah Book Authority announced the opening of registration for participation in the new edition of the Sharjah International Publishers Conference, scheduled to be held at Expo Centre Sharjah from November 1 to 3, ahead of the launch of the 45th Sharjah International Book Fair on November 4.

The conference comes amid the global standing it has cemented as one of the leading professional platforms in the publishing sector, after helping strengthen the Sharjah International Book Fair’s position as the world’s largest marketplace for publishing rights for the fifth consecutive year, attracting publishers, literary agents, and book industry experts from around the world.

The conference’s professional program includes a series of specialized sessions and training workshops, in addition to bilateral business meetings bringing together professionals in the publishing sector, alongside a $300,000 translation grant and the “Publishers Recognition Award.”
