U.S. President Donald Trump said that “China has agreed not to supply Iran with weapons.”
Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform:
“They agreed not to send weapons to Iran. China is very happy with the permanent opening of the Strait of Hormuz. I am doing that for them as well, and for the whole world. This situation will never happen again. They agreed not to send weapons to Iran.”
He added: “President Xi (Chinese President Xi Jinping) will receive me very warmly when I arrive there in a few weeks. We are working together intelligently and with great efficiency! Isn’t that better than fighting? But remember, we are very good at fighting, if we have to be — far better than anyone else.”
Later, Trump told Fox Business that “the United States can destroy all of Iran’s bridges and power stations within one hour.”
