Pakistani sources told Al Hadath that Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi did not receive the green light from Tehran to hold any meetings with the US side during his visit to Islamabad.
The sources added that the consultations Araghchi is conducting in the Pakistani capital will be limited exclusively to the Pakistani side, with no negotiating track with Washington.
Meanwhile, the Iranian news agency reported that Araghchi is holding talks with the Pakistani army chief as part of his second visit to Islamabad, which is addressing bilateral and regional issues.
