Agence France-Presse reported that Russia began evacuating 198 employees from the Bushehr nuclear plant in Iran on Saturday, following an attack near the facility by a joint U.S.-Israeli strike, according to Russian media.
The Russian news agency TASS quoted Alexey Likhachev, Director General of the nuclear agency Rosatom, as saying: “The main wave of Rosatom staff evacuation from Iran began today as planned, about 20 minutes after the strike targeted the area surrounding the nuclear power plant.”
