Ministry of Public Works launches maintenance works on the Hazmieh–Dahr al-Baidar–Chtaura international road to improve traffic safety

The Ministry of Public Works and Transport announced that, through one of its contracted companies, it will begin pothole repair works on the Hazmieh–Dahr al-Baidar–Chtaura international road, as part of routine maintenance aimed at improving traffic safety and ensuring the uninterrupted flow of traffic along this vital route.

The works are expected to continue for seven days, starting on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, and are to be completed within the specified deadlines in accordance with the approved timetable.

While stressing its commitment to carrying out the works in line with the highest safety standards, the ministry called on citizens to fully comply with the instructions of Internal Security Forces personnel, adhere to the directional signs placed at the work site, and show the utmost cooperation, in a way that helps facilitate the progress of the works and ensure public safety until the project is completed.
