The Army Command - Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
As Israeli attacks continue across various Lebanese regions, and as the challenges facing the country continue to mount, calls have recently emerged urging citizens to gather and protest in pursuit of several demands.
While affirming its respect for the right to peacefully express opinions, the Army Command strongly warns against any movement that could endanger stability and civil peace, or lead to attacks on public and private property.
It also stresses that the army will intervene firmly to prevent any harm to internal stability, at a time when Lebanon needs the highest degree of awareness and responsibility. The command also calls on citizens to respond to the instructions of the deployed military units.
