May spring began late... and this is what the weather will be like!

Stable spring weather is dominating Lebanon and the eastern Mediterranean basin, with temperatures remaining below seasonal averages until next week due to the flow of relatively cool air masses into our region.

Note: Average temperatures for the month of May are between 18 and 27 degrees in Beirut, between 15 and 25 in Tripoli, and between 13 and 27 degrees in Zahle.

Saturday: Partly cloudy to mostly clear, with temperatures dropping inland, remaining unchanged along the coast, and rising slightly in the mountains. Fog will also form over the highlands.

Sunday: Mostly clear to partly cloudy, with a slight drop in temperatures to below seasonal averages, while fog continues to appear over the highlands.

Monday: Mostly clear to partly cloudy, with temperatures rising, especially inland, and continued fog formation over the highlands.

Tuesday: Generally partly cloudy, with temperatures rising and fog continuing over the highlands.

Surface winds: Southwesterly, occasionally active, with speeds ranging between 15 and 40 km/h.

Visibility: Good on the coast, worsening over the highlands due to fog.

Relative humidity on the coast: Between 60 and 85 percent.
