
Egyptian Foreign Minister Dr. Badr Abdelatty held a series of phone calls with his counterparts in the Sultanate of Oman, Pakistan, and Turkey as part of coordinating regional efforts to monitor current developments and the course of negotiations between the United States and Iran.
The consultations involved an in-depth exchange of views and assessments regarding the trajectory of the negotiating process, with the ministers stressing the importance of continued joint coordination in a way that enhances the chances of successful diplomatic solutions and curbs escalating tensions in the region.
During the calls, Abdelatty affirmed that advancing the negotiations represents a pivotal element in reaching practical understandings that would help consolidate the ceasefire, contain the escalation, and create a conducive atmosphere for ending the conflict, thereby strengthening regional stability.
