
Minister of Social Affairs Hanin El Sayed announced that the “Aman” program remains ongoing, noting that financial assistance has been transferred today to an additional 20,000 families as part of efforts to expand support for the most vulnerable households.
El Sayed urged families remaining in the South to register on the designated platform to ensure they receive aid in a direct and organized manner.
Regarding displacement, she confirmed that 669 shelters are currently hosting around 186,000 displaced individuals across all Lebanese governorates. She also highlighted that 3.2 million meals have been distributed, along with 400,000 blankets and mattresses, as part of ongoing efforts to meet the basic needs of those affected.
