The “Al-Qard Al-Hassan” file resurfaces: Banking measures return the debate to licensing and oversight

Media reports said that Hezbollah is facing mounting financial challenges amid a gradual process targeting its economic instruments, including the Al-Qard Al-Hassan institution.

According to the information, the latest circular issued by Banque du Liban banning dealings with the party has revived the issue of the institution, amid calls for the Interior Ministry to refer the matter of revoking its license to the Cabinet to take the appropriate decision.
