The Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, stated that the current phase is witnessing sensitive and dangerous developments, pointing to what he described as contradictory behavior by the “enemy” between public messaging and actions behind the scenes.
Ghalibaf said: “The enemy sends negotiation messages publicly while secretly planning a ground attack.”
He added: “The Americans are seeking to force us into surrender, and our response will be clear—we will never submit.”
He continued: “The war has reached its most critical moments.”
He noted: “The enemy, which had been planning to overthrow the system in Iran, has made the opening of the Strait of Hormuz a primary objective.”
He affirmed: “Our missiles are being launched, our missile capabilities are intact, and we can see signs of fear among enemy forces.”
He concluded: “We are in a major global war and must prepare ourselves to reach the top.”
