The Customs Directorate has increased working hours at the Masnaa border crossing between Lebanon and Syria in order to speed up the movement of trucks entering or leaving Lebanon, while taking customs measures to prevent smuggling operations.
The crossing has been opened daily from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. to facilitate import and export operations.
Masnaa is a key crossing between Lebanon and the Arab countries, and pressure on it has increased after it was adopted without the other land crossings between Lebanon and Syria.
