Geagea receives Syrian chargé d’affaires in Maarab… Emphasis on dialogue between Lebanon and Syria

Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea received at Maarab the chargé d’affaires at the Embassy of the Syrian Arab Republic in Lebanon, Iyad al-Hazzah, on a courtesy visit, in the presence of Executive Committee member and former MP Eddy Abi Lamaa, head of the Foreign Relations Department and former minister Richard Kouyoumjian, and Roger Rajeh from the department.

During the meeting, discussions addressed the general situation and current developments on the Lebanese and regional scenes, in addition to stressing the importance of political and diplomatic dialogue and communication in a way that serves the interests of both countries and the Lebanese and Syrian peoples.

At the start of the meeting, al-Hazzah also presented symbolic gifts to Geagea.
