Lebanon’s Ambassador to Washington, Nada Maalouf, affirmed that “the preparatory meeting was fruitful.”
She said: “I stressed the urgent need for the full implementation of the ceasefire agreement concluded in 2024.”
She added: “I emphasized the unity of our territory and the state’s full sovereignty over all our lands.”
She concluded by saying: “I called for a ceasefire and for the displaced to return to their homes.”
