
In its daily report issued on March 20, 2026, the Disaster Risk Management Unit at the Grand Serail presented an updated overview of the humanitarian and field situation in the country, amid ongoing tensions and their impact on civilians.
The report highlighted a widening wave of displacement, with 644 shelters opened to accommodate those affected. These centers are currently hosting 134,616 displaced individuals, distributed across 33,949 families—an indication of the deepening humanitarian crisis.
On the ground, approximately 3,000 hostile incidents were recorded, reflecting continued escalation and its direct impact on overall stability.
As for human losses, 20 people were killed and 57 injured over the past 24 hours. This brings the cumulative toll since the beginning of the events to 1,021 fatalities and 2,641 injuries.
