Since the beginning of the military escalation initiated by Hezbollah, the Lebanese government has taken strong and courageous measures to implement its program aimed at consolidating sovereignty in the interest of all Lebanese citizens.
At this critical moment for the country’s future, I assured the President of France’s full support.
We will continue delivering humanitarian aid to displaced populations, and we will maintain our steadfast support for the Lebanese Armed Forces and Internal Security Forces by supplying them in the coming days with armored transport vehicles.
The unity of Lebanon’s territory, the protection of civilians regardless of their sects, and the preservation of state institutions and the country’s infrastructure are all essential."*
