US Secretary of War: No agreement with Iran unless it serves our interests… with renewed emphasis on preventing it from acquiring nuclear weapons

The US Secretary of War affirmed that President Donald Trump “will not sign any agreement unless it is in the interest of the United States,” noting that talks with the Iranian side “have been positive and constructive.”

He stressed that the US president has set a clear priority of preventing Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon, pointing out that “Washington’s objectives on this issue have not changed and have not been rolled back.”
