Concentrated military movements in southern Lebanon target the connecting routes between the Bekaa and the south and seek to redraw field balances

Informed American sources said the latest Israeli operation falls within a military approach aimed at targeting and severing the supply lines linking the Bekaa region to southern Lebanon, considering that these networks constitute one of the key elements in Hezbollah’s ability to move and reorganize its field capabilities.

In the same context, the sources indicated that field attention is focused on the strip stretching from the Beaufort Castle area to Jezzine, given its geographic importance in linking the south to the Bekaa and extending toward the coast, noting that any control over or shift in the balance of influence within this area would impose a new reality on the ground.
