
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov held talks with his Algerian counterpart, Ahmed Attaf, on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, during which they discussed ways to strengthen the strategic partnership between Moscow and Algeria, as well as coordinating the schedule of bilateral contacts at various levels, according to a statement issued by the Russian Foreign Ministry.
The two sides expressed satisfaction with the level of political dialogue between the two countries, which is based on trust and ongoing cooperation in bilateral and multilateral frameworks.
The meeting also featured an extensive exchange of views on the most prominent regional and international issues, with a focus on developments in the Middle East, the Sahara and Sahel region, as well as Maghreb-related files.
