The war in Lebanon will not escalate randomly beyond what it is today, as the capital and some areas continue to be kept out of the conflict. However, it will gradually intensify militarily in the south and other areas, in line with the pace of the direct negotiations that will soon accelerate, by an American decision, between Lebanon and Israel.
