
Villages and towns in southern Lebanon witnessed a marked Israeli escalation, marked by a series of airstrikes and artillery shelling targeting a number of areas.
According to the National News Agency, the strikes targeted the towns of Haddatha, Kafra, Deir Qanoun al-Nahr, and Touline, in addition to Wadi Houmine–Arki and the area between Safad al-Battikh and Qleileh, as well as Yater and Braasheet. Explosions were also reported to have hit homes in Bint Jbeil.
In another field development, an airstrike was recorded on the Arab al-Jal–Houmine al-Tahta road in the Zahrani area, resulting in three martyrs and one wounded woman, while the National News Agency announced two martyrs in a strike on Zrariyeh, along with scattered attacks targeting Yater and the area between Houmine al-Tahta and Bnaafoul.
For its part, the Health Ministry announced the deaths of 4 people and injuries to 8 others as a result of an Israeli strike on the town of Touline in the south of the country.
