Intensive contacts by Araghchi to discuss preventing escalation

Iran's Foreign Ministry announced on Saturday that Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi held phone calls with his counterparts in Turkey, Qatar and Iraq, addressing the latest regional and international developments amid rising tensions in the region.

The ministry added that Araghchi also discussed, during a phone call with Oman's foreign minister, diplomatic efforts aimed at preventing escalation and containing tensions, stressing the continuation of political consultations with regional and international parties.
