Minister of Economy Amer Al-Bassat said in an interview with the MTV channel that preparations for the war had begun about two months ago and were carried out discreetly so as not to alarm the public.
He added that the country is currently facing a difficult situation but that it remains under control, stressing that authorities are working seriously to manage the crisis.
Regarding the rise in fuel prices, Al-Bassat explained that the cost of fuel has increased, but confirmed that existing fuel reserves are sufficient for approximately three to four weeks.
