President Joseph Aoun followed the circumstances surrounding the trapping of journalists Zeinab Faraj and Amal Khalil in the town of Tayri as a result of the Israeli forces' shelling of the town.
President Aoun asked the Lebanese Red Cross to work on rescuing the two journalists and their companions, and to coordinate with the army and international forces to carry out the rescue operation as quickly as possible, renewing his call not to target media workers while they are carrying out their journalistic duties.
