
Morocco’s Minister of Youth, Culture, and Communication, Mohamed Mehdi Bensaid, held a series of high-level meetings in Cairo on the sidelines of the Moroccan–Egyptian Coordination and Follow-up Committee, focusing on enhancing bilateral cooperation in the fields of culture and youth.
Talks with Egypt’s Minister of Culture, Jehan Zaki, centered on activating cultural partnership mechanisms through the exchange of expertise in preserving both tangible and intangible heritage, boosting mutual participation in major cultural events, exploring joint artistic production opportunities, and facilitating the work of professionals in the cinema and creative arts sectors. These efforts aim to strengthen the countries’ cultural presence at both regional and international levels.
In a related context, Bensaid also met with Egypt’s Minister of Youth and Sports, Jawhar Nabil, where discussions focused on advancing joint youth initiatives through sharing models for managing youth and training centers, promoting innovation, strengthening youth diplomacy, supporting leading initiatives and startups, and showcasing Morocco’s experience in youth empowerment and economic inclusion.
